Conference tables
Conference table is like a name card of your company that’s why you should have a custom made piece. It stands in most important room of your office, this is where you will meet your clients, do the interviews and it will be most visible part of your international Zoom call. It’s a way to make a good first impression.
We design and build all our high end meeting tables in Hong Kong. Each table is unique, designed and crafted to match preference of individual client. We provide design service but we will be also happy to work with your designer.
We work with different types of materials, usually wood or natural veneers but we like to mix it with steel, brass, stone, resin and others. Your table can stand on wooden or steel legs or even float on transparent acrylic base. We will take care of your Audio Visual equipment, all power sockets, speakers and microphones can be built to leave a clean surface.
Our shop is located on the ground floor and we can build a table of any size, the only limit will be your elevator or willingness to rent a crane. Over the years we got a chance to build some big challenging conference tables with built in audio – visual systems, lift up mechanisms, cable trays, power sockets etc.
Plan in advance as these tables take time to build. See some of our works below, each table is absolutely unique.
SWIRE table at One Island East
One of a kind table on 19th floor Tai Koo Place showroom for a demanding client. The characteristic top split into 4 parts was made using 100 years old Oak slabs from Poland. Custom made steel cladded base finished with Italian structural paint has two ends with built in mechanism that can be lifted by remote control. The table was part of a interior project by Design Eight Five Two.
Conference table at Hennessey One
The Hennessey One building in Wan Chai is now home to a magnificent conference table designed for a capital group. This table, measuring 3.4 meters in length, has been crafted from black walnut and comprises of two slabs that have been carefully selected from the same tree. The skilled craftsmen have meticulously matched the curves of the two pieces to create a seamless gap in the middle of the table, resembling a river canyon. This recess serves as the perfect platform to house all the audio-visual equipment required for a conference, such as speakers, microphones, and power sockets. The matte black steel base further accentuates the sleek and modern design of the table, making it an ideal choice for a capital group’s conference room.
Conference Ping Pong table
The conference table in a prestigious club house of a big capital group serves a dual purpose – it doubles as a Ping Pong table. The table was designed to match the vintage vibes requested by the client. The choice of African Oyoum wood was deliberate, as it has a reddish brown color and consistent grain that adds to its aesthetic appeal. To further enhance its look, the table features a long brass inlay strip that runs through its top, along with cable openings and matching details on its slanted edges.
The table was built in two pieces – the first one measuring 274x152cm, which is the size of an actual Ping Pong table, and the second being an extension piece measuring 100x152cm, making the total length of the table 374cm. To ensure stability and durability, the base of the table was cladded with solid wood. The conference table is not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing, making it a perfect addition to the club house.
Mariners Club Table
Our client requested a natural look for their conference table and that’s exactly what we delivered. The table is made from a single, huge slice of Rain Tree, complete with its live edges, brushed saw marks, and filled cracks. The unique character of the wood is preserved, giving the table a truly organic feel. The table has a matte lacquer finish and sits atop sturdy trestle-style steel legs.
Moving the table was a challenge, as it weighed a hefty 200kg. It had to be transported to the 5th floor by a crane. Despite its size, the table doesn’t have any fancy details or audio equipment. The focus is solely on the 3.9 x 1.3m surface of natural wood, making it a simple yet stunning addition to any conference room. The table exudes a rustic charm, bringing a touch of nature to the modern workspace.
Poplar burl table
We were approached by a local designer to construct a 3 meter long conference table for her personal residence in Mid Levels. The client desired a table that was made from big pieces of poplar burl veneer, as opposed to the typical practice of piecing together multiple small sections. Finding the right material for the job was a challenge, but we were able to source a poplar veneer that had all of the unique details and patterns that the client was looking for.
Working with poplar veneer can be difficult due to its knots and cracks, but we were up for the challenge. By properly processing the material, we were able to create a table that had a truly one-of-a-kind appearance. The result was a stunning piece of furniture that perfectly fit the client’s vision for her residence.
